New Patient Info - What To Expect

Pre-Appointment Preparation

We ask that you bring any recent x-rays, MRIs, or CAT Scans that are related to any spinal problems you may be suffering from.
Our intake forms are all done online. No printing necessary!

These will be sent to you by email once you make your appointment. Fill them out to the best of your knowledge and with as much detail as possible. All history is helpful in this assessment.
Please complete these forms at least 24 hours before your visit, if possible, so that the doctor has a chance to look over your paperwork.

We ask that you give yourself some extra time and arrive 5 minutes early to your appointment so that you are not feeling stressed or rushing to be on time. This way you may enjoy a cup of tea before your visit.

The care in our office is different than many doctor’s offices. One of the ways we are different is that we almost always run on time. So your early arrival can ensure that other patients stay on time as well. Thank you for your consideration.

What Can I Expect From My Follow Up Visit?

What Can I Expect From My First Visit?

First, you will have a consultation with the doctor to discuss your health-related problems, concerns, and potential chiropractic care plan options. This initial visit is designed for the doctors to learn more about you, your condition, and expectations to determine how chiropractic care can meet your goals.

After your consultation, the doctor will perform a complete chiropractic examination testing your spinal health.

Some of the tests we utilize are:

  • Facilitative pattern palpation

  • Range of motion evaluation

  • Motion palpation

Depending on your specific condition, we may refer you for x-rays.

X-rays can help us develop the most effective care plan for you and alert us of any serious spinal conditions. Most people are amazed once they see their x-rays up close. In some cases, they can even identify their misalignments and degeneration themselves.

We do not automatically x-ray every patient.

Once we have gone through your health history and performed all necessary examinations, you will be scheduled for a follow-up visit, usually within a week or as your schedule allows.

During this follow-up visit, the doctor will give you a detailed report on your spine and answer questions like:

  • Can we help you?

  • How often do you need to come in?

  • What will your care cost?

At the end of this second visit, you can choose to receive your first spinal adjustment. Our adjustments are gentle and effective. Some adjustments require the use of a specific tool that provides exact vectors to correct nerve blockages.

Chiropractic care involves highly specialized training and our office custom tailors each care plan to cater to each one of our practice members unique needs.

We offer care to everyone from newborn babies to seniors and all ages in between and we look forward to having you join our chiro community.
